I had so much fun creating a Farrow and Ball colour palette for this stunning wall mural by Igmur. The colours I've chosen are a classic combination of pinks, red and deep green - timeless perfection. However, I also wanted to show that a scheme with these colours doesn't need to be old fashioned or predictable. On the contrary - this room, with the amazing mural, green walls and fabulous pink armchair is wonderfully contemporary. Mixing the right colours in a balanced way is key to a successful design. The colours in my palette are there as part of an overall look and don't all need to be on the walls. A pop of pink in the armchair is a great way of pulling one of the colours out of the mural and using it within the scheme, without being too overpowering. Green paint on the walls is softened by the mural, a neutral rug and no other dominating pattern. I just love this room - it has a fresh colour palette, wow factor and bags of style. Maybe have a closer look at wall murals to buy, or, if you have the talent, paint one yourself!
