My inspiration for this dreamy bedroom design comes from the gorgeous butterfly wing print by Nina Warmerdam. I've created a Farrow and Ball colour palette of soft beige pinks, blueish grey neutrals and an accent of black. It's a calm, warm scheme anchored down by the pop of black - you can use this accent of black in picture frames, light fittings, accessories and soft furnishings. You don't need much though - just a touch pulls everything together. I would use the subtle grey - Dimpse - on walls - it is a neutral with blue undertones and grey/white Wevet on woodwork. The warm pinks are Dead Salmon and Pink Ground - these colours can be found in soft furnishings like bedlinen, cushions and rugs or used on an accent wall. The two warm pinks work alongside the cool greys providing balance in this scheme - not too sugary pink and not too cold grey. It's also important to add pattern to your look - and, in my mood board, this comes from the lovely butterfly print. You could find pattern, with a similar colour scheme, in wallpaper, a rug or soft furnishings. The key, though, is to balance these elements - colour, pattern, texture and light - do that and you will have created your dream bedroom...
